He works closely with leading vision companies such as Bausch & Lomb, Alcon, Essilor Instruments, Topcon and LKC Technologies, helping shape how new treatments and innovations reach patients.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Wood’s heart for community shines just as brightly. He’s an active supporter (and occasional performer!) in the San Antonio theater community, appearing in local productions such as Elf the Musical, Rock of Ages, Kinky Boots, and The Bridges of Madison County. When he’s not on stage or in the exam room, you can often find him lecturing, volunteering, attending concert and sporting events or enjoying time with his family.
Dr. Wood loves sports, musical theater, great music, and great company. He’s also a big fan of SA Spurs Basketball, UNC Tar Heel basketball, Texas Longhorn football, golf, pickleball, and just about anything that brings people together.
