Outstanding experience. I was referred to Wood Vision Source by the VA. I read the reviews before going, and was hesitant at first. Upon my first impression, there was plenty of parking, the office was in a great location, and it was spotless. Giselle immediately conducted my eye exam. I was really impressed by her knowledge, and she informed me about the reasons behind the issues I was having with my eyes, as well as shared her professional experience. She thoroughly explained each step during the exams and was very patient when guiding me to each of the machines. Dr Emily Brunette, a true professional, was very patient and provided excellent service. Upon completing my exam, she explained how the VA worked with contractors and provided me with information and options on where to fill my prescription.

I just moved to San Antonio and needed to establish a new eye care team. I don’t really trust online reviews, but decided to take a chance when I picked this place. Can confirm, the reviews are not wrong. My experience here was great. The atmosphere is welcoming, the team was very professional and polite. From the receptionist, to Angela, Dr. Emily, and Lily, the whole team was a delight to interact with. I know this review will possibly be lost in the mix of the rest, but if by chance you’re reading this, I highly recommend Wood Vision Source. Couldn’t ask for a better appointment experience.

From start to finish, I had a wonderful experience with this office. They answered all my questions over the phone before I arrived, check in was quick, and I was taken back promptly. I believe it was Tina who did the intake info and testing. She was patient and explained every step well. Dr. Wood was thorough and pleasant during the exam. He explained everything fully. Lauren helped me with getting the lenses and trying them out. She was sweet and explained everything she was doing. The office staff at the end did a great job of taking their time even though it was after closing time, giving me the cost of my contacts with insurance and finding me a rebate as well. After spending 20 years with my previous doctor until she retired, I think I've found my new office!

I had a great experience during my optometry visit today. Tina, the technician (or assistant), was incredibly friendly and professional—she really took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Dr. Burnette was equally kind and very thorough in addressing my vision needs. The entire visit was smooth, informative, and reassuring. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quality eye care with a personal touch.

Been visiting Dr. Woods for 5 years now - this Dr is extremely knowledgeable, you can tell that he cares and is passionate about his field. He takes the time to explain even the smallest details about your eye health. The office staff is always lovely, cheerful, and professional. I cannot say enough good things about this optometry office. I appreciate them all so much
